About Sanctification.org
Why We Exist
There are many websites that teach us how to be saved. That is good, and it is important. That is the foundation. But what happens next?
Many people stop there. You are saved. You have grace. You ask for forgiveness when you sin. And you go on living just like everyone else.
We believe that Jesus offered something more. Not only forgiveness for the past, but also strength for the future. Not merely grace that covers our wretchedness and weakness, but transformation into the image of Jesus. This is called sanctification.
Our History
In the early 1900s, there lived a man—Johan Oscar Smith—who had observed that many Christians were converted, but very few were transformed. People rejoiced at the forgiveness of their sins, but they lacked the power to overcome sin. They may have received the baptism of the Spirit, but they did not live the life of Jesus in their daily lives.
Johan Oscar Smith realized that most Christians had only encountered Jesus as the atoning sacrifice, but not as their forerunner. In 1912, he began publishing a magazine called Hidden Treasures. And for more than 110 years, the message of sanctification has been at the heart of everything published by the Hidden Treasures Foundation publishers.
What We Offer
Sanctification.org brings together articles, resources, and practical guidance for those who want to proceed further. Not just forgiven. Transformed. We are talking about the battle against sin. The daily death of our self-will.
The victory that is possible. The life in the footsteps of Jesus.
There is a way to go, and that way is called sanctification. If you long for more than just the comfort of being forgiven time and time again, if you want to experience true transformation and live the life Jesus actually called you to, then you have come to the right place.
